We build the software that runs in the background of serious organisations.
Scandnavia Technologies is a Tanzania-based product studio in collaboration with our US sister company Craveads LLC. We exist to design and ship software for institutions — schools, clinics, and the kinds of organisations that take their daily operations seriously and would rather their software did the same.
A school’s academic year is longer than most software’s attention span. A clinic measures success in patient encounters, not week-over-week growth. The kinds of customers we work for can’t afford the churn the software industry has come to consider normal, and we don’t ask them to.
That shapes everything we do. We choose boring, durable infrastructure. We write down what the system does, in plain language, in the repository. We design for the head’s seat first; the marketing page comes after the demo can survive a real meeting.
We are small — on purpose. A small studio with a long memory, accountable to a small number of customers we know by name.
